Full Stops

Full stops are used to show the end of a sentence and allow the reader to take a deeper breath than a comma. The length of the sentence can vary, but should not contain more than 3 clauses.

Capital Letters

Capital Letters have 2 functions:

Commas

Commas are used for a couple of functions:

  1. To allow a pause in a long sentence.
  2. To break up a list, so that it is easier to read.

Question Marks

If the sentence is a question, a question mark is used to end the sentence instead of a full stop.

Question marks only have 1 function:

Exclamation Marks

Exclamation marks are used to end sentences like full stops, but unlike full stops they also show strong feelings.
